This cute little seven year old girl walks up to a biker in the tavern and says, "My daddy says Harleys sound like a bean fart."
He turns around and looks at me and says, "Did you say that?"
Well not one to back down even to certain danger I say "YUP."
"Hurmph" he says and went to sit with his buddies. Just then the leader and the biggest one comes up to me and says, "Steve, I don't want to know why you ride a Kawasaki, I want to know why you don't ride a Harley?"
"I don't like the bike or the attitude that goes with it." I said.
"Good answer" he said and walked away.
First off I didn't say it about bean farts, Mikey did. Children pick up on everything that's said, the little darlings.
Second, my bike was on the road 365 while theirs were down more than running.
That was in 93, Bossie's still on the road, I haven't seen any of theirs :whistle:
Go figure.

BTW, overhauling the engine and running gear is not triple the value. Even so, it's what it's worth to me that matters, not what someone else would pay for it. Jealous jerks will try to convince you it's not worth anything so they can rip you off and have it for themselves. Happens all the time. I love to tell them NO.

Wow, that guy would give you $1000 for that bike. How could you pass up such a deal? :laugh:

That guy must not look at bike prices very much. I don't think there was ever a time when $1000 would pay for half of that bike.

It is interesting to see/hear what you capture when a camera is left running.

Meth head. Didn't look like he had two dimes to rub together. He and his kid paid for their food with food stamps. Showing off for the kid or feeling me out for a rip off. Either way I made him look small by my response. There are low lives, trolls and scammers everywhere. Just some of the native wildlife. :whistle:
