Ran into a guy at the biker breakfast with a 81 kz1300 has 58635 miles on it. 800.00 takes it home. It will need a battery and that`s it. I have not seen the bike in person but do have a picture.

What do you think?

If it's really the bike in that picture for $800 and it runs I'm saying it's too good to be true. I would sure have a look. Those bikes are known to have cam tensioner failures that kill the engine. I don't think that new replacement parts are available either. Just sayin do your homework before you waste your money.

With that said the bike in the picture looks great. Also those inline 6 bikes like the KZ1300 and CBX make the most incredible sound. I would have one just for that.

In Canada a bike in that condition is selling for $4000.00 more or less.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

I think you can get a cam chain tensioner from ape. Posting this so the the better half sees it and understands why im getting it. She will read this
