Well i was almost wrong on that honda affect theory, guy stopped by the house while i was at work, saw my 550 on the front porch, and talked to the mrs.
Turns out his buddy is an avid kaw head, he had to stop and ask about the bike for him and relay a story about how his friend bought a mint 77 1000 for under 2k. Im gonna give him my hondas so his luck gets repelled to almost thought that honda turned into good luck
my bikes; 80kz1000(project), 77 gl1000, 74 h2 (project)
Past; 78 kz1000, 83 kz550

Me and the wife with about 3000 miles on the big H. "IT" is working ... I have no desire to modify the Honda. It's the daily driver, but lacks appeal. All my non-running Kawasakis have more soul than this bike has, yet still ... it has it's place in the garage ... and it runs. ;) So, the hope is that now that I have a dependable daily driver I'll be able to focus on some Kawasakis this summer and get some stuff up-and-running.

I have to say, (and I pray that KGB doesn't read this), this thing just doesn't 'communicate' with me ... I don't get along with it AT ALL. It sure is pretty. We get complements all the time. But holy crap, me and this bike do NOT get along at all. Non-handling, disconnected, vile carbureting thing ... fits just fine in MY garage, hell that's my personality to a 'T', but damn, it's like being married ... can't live with that bitch ... can't live without it.

NOT THAT MY MARRIAGE IS LIKE THAT!!!

... just sayin' ... that in a country wit a 60% divorce ratio, this bike fits right in there.

Maybe after I'm done with my Kawasaki projects, I'll put some 17"s on this thing ... maybe.

Okay ... I forget, how do you insert a photo in the normal text so that it shows up when you post it instead of the little 'attachment' photos??? :(

after you "add file" you need to go ahead and hit the "insert" button.

here i did not hit "insert".

honda is looking good.

for what it is  .

i am surprised that someone hasn't offered to buy it for enough to buy a good running KAWASAKI   .

Looking good as is.
I've met up with the Honda boys this year already, and will have to run by the mod list on them.
Maybe it will give you some ideas for future mods.
