KZ North American Relay Ride-Leg 3

Haha! just got off the phone with my KZ contact in WAHOO Nebraska, and he will have one of his 3 KZ's ready when you get here. We'll ride up to O'niell or something in the sandhills of NEBRASKA with you and Lawrence. Of course, the guys from out west will be watching. I might, and Jason might keep going with you to Oregon. I have lots of tools, credit cards and my flops! This thing is taking on a life of its OWN!

Hey Tom, Nate and Justin have not been responding. Peter is doing a Kansas run on his own and bringing The Flag back to Omaha. Soon, Very Soon, he and others including me will ride out west from there! I have interest in Montana from a member. A plan and road trip is developing.

Lawrence. Will let you know. I will hit Johnny's Cycle in Nebraska City on the way back today and see if he knows somebody in Colorado! Talk to ya later! But what I'm thinking is you and me and Forrest ride to Oregon. My bike has never run better! Anyway, if it's next week the wifey will be home and she can make world class barbecue chicken, beans and corn pudding for us! :woohoo:

Which member in Montana is joining in? Will it still go up to Tim/ KZ250LTD in Canada?
Seems like the last planned out routes from last year may be Null and Void.
I've been in touch with Forrest, and if i can get some advance notice to schedule time off of work, I can come to Idaho/ Wy/ maybe Montana. Meet whoever, ride back to Oregon either alone or with a Group of KZ's. But NO Super Slab riding except where absolutely necessary.

I can also connect you to Peter aka Goodcheapnfast. He is in Omaha and currently holds the flag. Our main objective is advancing the flag west. The Kansas portion can be accomplished easily enough. It is crossing the Great Plain and getting someone to accept the Flag in the Rockies that has been the real challenge recently. The flag will move soon. Feel free to contact me.

I'll keep an eye on the threads you referenced and see how things are going as far as moving the flag westward. If it's still here in Omaha in August I'll try to work something out with Pete (goodfastncheap) and see if we can ride west together.

They have a few folks on there that are always up for a ride. I bet they'd like to be part of a relay.

I hope to be unshackled from my desk in early August, so if you need another rider then, just let me know.

Kaw-a-holic is back in the game! He is in Missoula, MT. He is willing to come into WY. He then could pass to you and your Oregon crew. A plan is Gellin!

Really good to see you in the loop! Hope to be out your way real soon and we can all ride places and eat things!

BTW, Peter is in Kansas by now. We should get an update and pictures later.

My bike is close but not finished and the motor is fresh. Would need to run it in to make sure it's good to go. I like the idea of riding my reliable tried and trusted steed. I know it's not 20 years old but if flag is stuck after Sunday, any day is good. I can ride and meet all the riders and make sure it gets to Cali. Forrest and will be able to ride to a point as he has work he can only get away so much but I'm free till middle of August and could and would move it all the way if need be.
