Whoa, how the hell did I miss this for so long???

I'm in NY, suprised to see no one else in the area stepping up to carry the flag..

I recently traded my Kz's for a ZRX, can I still play??
traded my classic Kz's for a 2001 Kz1200r

What year for the ZRX? Anybody can ride along, but the flag has to be carried on a Kawasaki that's at least 20 years old. Doesn't have to be a KZ.

The ZRX will be max 13 years old but I think it should be allowed on a ZRX as it was built as a homage to the Zeds.

So when should I be planning to head down to Maine? I can be down there June 9, or 23. Pick a date and get the flag as close to Canada as possible. I have to book the ferry soon if its going to be the 9th. I would like to come the weekend of the 23rd, gives me an extra day since I have Monday off.

I think Squints should post his question about the ZRX in the main thread and see what the consensus is.

As far as dates T_Dub, man I wish I knew. The big question right now is getting it from MD to New England. Haggard Scott is in NJ and was supposed to connect those two areas but he's been MIA for a bit. Nothing on KZR and no response to email. Even if he were in the mix, I'd think the 9th would be awful tight for getting it all the way to you.

Squints, where exactly in NY are you? I'd rather see the relay keep moving even if we bend the 20 year old rule than have it stall out half way up the coast.

No worries Topper. I just need to know as early as possible so I can plan. I'm on a 10 on, 4 off shift so I can do it any other weekend really, but I'd prefer the weekend of the 23rd of June if at all possible. If it could get as far as Bangor by then I could be there that day.

Maryland to Bangor is only 650mi or so, a month and a half should be more than enough time. I'll be traveling over 2200mi in one weekend haha.

Wow! That's a lot of miles. I don't think you're going to find many riders on the relay willing to do that. There's a rider in Nova Scotia who might be able to help you out. Heyst put himself on the map but I haven't heard from him in a while.

Well if it makes it to Maine and nobody is able to bring it any further, I'll go get it. I want this thing to make it to Cape Spear.
