Twas a dark night very still, me and some mates taking turns riding an old ajs thumper up in the fields you couldnt see much but the pop pop pop of the old bikes exhaust could be plainly heard pop pop pop pop -nothing- we all stopped chatting and were speculating on what had happened , when a pinpoint of light pierced the gloom immediately followed by a flare of light silhouetting the outline of someone holding a match (loony mate)looking into the petrol tank to see if it had ran out of gas
laugh, i was on the floor crying, made all the worse when he came back minus eyebrows and his fringe i still laugh when i remember it, just thought i,d share it with you humour me lol.
