Be VERY careful! This outfit puts a lot of cars up for sale, and often MGBs (of which I have two). They are always immaculately detailed, but often not what they appear. Corrosion issues, cheap resprays, replaced speedometers (mileage incorrect), incorrect replacement parts and always a premium price. I know of one MGB they have put on e-Bay three times - and it clearly has frame-rot issues that they deny!
Just a heads-up - if this bike is genuine, it should sell for a decent price.

Yeah I get the feeling it has been doctored up. It could be the genuine article but I would want to see it with my own eyes. Paying such a premium price for one this nice, you had better have a good definition of the word "nice".
If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

Be careful. The bike looks nice, but certain things about it bother me:
Something is or was wrong with the engine as it runs or ran VERY hot. The pipes all have turned dark. My pipes haven’t turned any color after more than 47,000 miles
The bullet connector on the wire coming out of the alternator looks like it got very hot (it’s burned brown)
The seat has been recovered (why?); it has a different pattern and doesn’t say Kawasaki on the back
The yellow paint on the carbs is not original (Kawasaki put a tiny spot on certain screws that would show if the screw had been turned, coating the whole screw and area around it defeats the purpose); who is the seller trying to fool?
Why was the steering stem pinch bolt nut replaced (originals were wide steel locknuts – not nyloc); did the guy have the front end off at only 4,000 miles?
The great amount of wear on the kick-starter shaft (near the bottom where it hits the right footpeg) shows that this bike has been started many, many times with the kicker
The cam cover has been removed and sloppy Joe applied gasket sealer
Why would anyone replace all the engine screws on a bike with only 4,000 miles on it
Various other bits and pieces that are not quite right indicate that the bike was taken apart at some time and reassembled. This isn't necessarily bad, but why with so few miles?

Also has non original mirrors and the shift lever is not right, one engine mount bolt is too long indicating it had case guards, but no sign or rubbing on the frame. The frame's been touched up, kickstand repainted ect. Nothing wrong with that, but the entire motorcycle has been worked over pretty thouroughly to look nice. Did a nice job on cleaning up and touching up. A few more hours with blue away on the pipes and it would look better yet. I'm with Ed though, recovered seat and the blue pipes is not a great sign. Those are double wall pipes and take a tremendous effort to blue. Nice bike I'll say for sure though.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Interesting! These are exactly the kind of "issues" I have seen with MGBs from this seller. They have gone to a lot of work to make the bike "look" like it only has 4,000 miles, but then cannot explain wear and replacement issues that are not consistant with the mileage claim.
I would bet that if you ask a question about these issues, you will get a reply to the tune of "you don't know what you are talking about"!
Forwarned is forarmed!
