has anyone ever dealt with these guys? any impressions or horror stories? they seem like the place to go in il for older kz sales. i was drooling at their inventory and would to take a spin on one of their A2's they have for sale.
1982 Kawasaki KZ 750LTD. i wanted the big boy 1000, but there's like a billion of these 750 ltds running around. so what the hey!

I have bought parts from them several times with no problems or complaints.
Jeff Sanders with Z1 Enterprizes is always my first choice but Redine did have items Jeff did not carry.

I have dealt with Jim at Redline several times over the years and have never had a complaint. He has always answered any questions promptly and their service and quality are excellent.

ive seen that bike, but isnt he located in west virginia? i would think shipping costs would be killer as opposed to me jumping in my truck and making an 8 round trip to skokie from iowa.

Send him a PM. He is down to $2750.00 or best offer. I bet he could send you a Video. What was Redline asking? And then determine if the price is right for a drive. Illinois to West Virginia is a nice drive. Heck you could ride the bike alot of the way and see if it has any issues. Change the oil and plugs and let her roll...Russ
Redline wants $4400 for the stock one and $3400 for the black.
The Black one looks like the Kawasaki and the KZ 1000 emblems are stickers. The red ones both have about the same milege on them. You buy the one from the member lets say at $2500.00 you have saved $1900. I bet it has alot of extras like tool kit etc... Plus the original owner is known by the current one so he could be questioned as well. That bike might prove to be a real winner. I bet it is super clean. Outside of the 800 miles or so that the current owner put on it it was ridden by the original owner. Don't know why it hasn't sold. I bet it is gone...Russ
