I don't know about the 650's not being real bikes mine sure feels like one. But that MKII of Ron's is beautiful. Of course all of his bikes are purdy. He has a museum not a garage. But those MKII's are pretty rare. Parts are tough. Looks to need an exhaust and seat besides the usual. It would make a fantastic bike with patience and $. 650's are easy to find and you can take them any way you want. Caff, Bob, Std or street mod. Heck ya could chop it if that lights your firecracker. If I had to choose I'd do the 650 up. You already have a plan and a lot of parts. That said.... what I'd really like to do is get the MKII and put it away for when the 650 is finished while watching for a seat/exhaust. That's the best scenario. But first of all I'd see the 650 through. They are exceptional bikes also. Try this.....

Hmm, well this guy says its a daily driver, so it runs and runs well, and if I can sell the fairing and saddlebags for a fair amount thats cool. I offered the guy some money, lets see where it goes, I can always finish the 650 later. And no, I'm not going to ride it with that seat haha.

As for the location, I'll give you guys the exact link if I don't get it, but I think HerrDeacon is the only memeber thats close to it, its on the island of Newfoundland in Canada.

Buy that MK2. They are rare and worth every penny. Fun to ride also.

Well, I'm gonna go for it. Do you guys know how much I can expect to get for that fairing and bags? It'd have to be eBay for those, as bikes in general aren't all that common on a rainy island with a population of 500,000, so I doubt anyone there would buy them.

Ron, your bike swayed me to buy it for sure, its beautiful. I'll be looking for guidance this summer for sure. I'm in a different province so I wont see her for another 3 weeks but I'm giving dude a deposit tomorrow, and I'll be riding my very own mkII this summer, can't wait.

Congrats and good move. Ditch that excess body work on ebay and find you a stock seat. They are a bit to find. They were were still available from Kawasaki a while back but pricey. Not sure if they still are. Luminous Red is nice looking machine. Look at Ron's.

You will see me as soon as I get home from AB and get it registered! I really have to find a seat first though, that thing is hideous haha. Are you on the Rock too? Sounds like it. I thought Deacon was the only other guy on here from home, we should all meet up for a run this summer.

If push comes to shove with a seat I can always get this: www.z-power.co.uk/merchantmanager/produc...php?products_id=1524 . Pricey but looks great. Does anyone know if I get a seat cover can I just get correctly shaped foam for that seat pan thats on her and go that route?
