I am sure he will sell them but not for $950. Maybe $400 to someone who does not know any better

It is unlikely he'll get that amount advertizing on CL...however, I have seen clean stock KZ1000 pipes go for US$800+ on eBay...so, if he changed his approach and went with eBay, he just might get close to his 'firm' amount.
BTW, those do NOT look like early model KZ1000 pipes...more like late model pipes (998cc bikes).

i wouldnt mind having them, but not for that price or any price near 1/2 of it even.
I like the blue look, so I would give them to my brother so he can take em to work and throw them in the oven and blue the whole set.
