I'm looking at buying another kz (81 kz250) this one doesn't run and the guy said it just quit on the way home the other day as he pulled up to a stop sign. He said he tried to restart it but it sounded different and wouldn't start. The bike is an hour and a half away from me but I can buy it for $400 what do you think could be wrong with it? Quick response would be helpful before someone else buys it.

Thanks,
Randall

Scant info, difficult to evaluate.
Good for spares at least, but pricey.
On the other hand, there do seem to be plenty being broken so may be an easy fix,for sure you're in the right place for info and help if you choose to go that way.:)
Your call.

Well Randall, I second 'Sparky's' 'pricey' comment...being a non-runner really cuts the value...

I know it's not exactly ideal but, unfortunatley I haven't been able to find anything around here that I can afford. Everyone want's an arm and leg for their bikes.:( I just want something I can ride and afford.
