"La casa del gringo" with pics

It looks like The Gringo has a new casa. I should be able to get everything wrapped up this week to buy my mother's house. So I'll be leaving "da hood" and moving about a mile or so down the road. Now all my bikes and assorted projects will be out of view and I can work on them year round without being bothered by idiots. Here is a view of the house from the street.

This is a shot of the inside of the screened in porch. In the winter I plan on parking the bikes that are finished in there so I can free up the garage for my truck.

Nice! You should be able to double, perhaps triple, the size of the herd:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: The basement is really nice...I miss basements...none in this part of Texas.

No actually I don't think she is even aware I bought the house yet. I've sent her several emails telling her all about it and included a ton of pics but as of late she hasn't checked her email account.:angry: :angry: :angry: I don't think she will give me too much lip about where I want to put my bikes anyhow. Compared to where she lives now this house will be like moving into the White House for her. Where she lives in Cali they have to take cold showers everyday because they don't have hot running water.....brrrrr. When I was down there it would take me an hour of psyching myself up to get in the shower. I don't care if it is 90 degrees outside, I just can't stand to take a 50 degree shower, we are talking major "shrinkage" here.:ohmy:
