buying a kz1000

I am considering buying a kz 1000. I am going to look at it next week. I was just wondering if there are any problems i should keep my eyes open for. The bike runs good however I Have never ridden or been around another kz so I have nothing to compare it to. The price is $1000, which isn't bad if it runs good.

These are older bikes... so it depends on if you want to put some restoring time in. Lots have small spots of rust... many have more rust.

Really look at and consider freshing these: Tires, brakes, oil, brake fluids, air filter(s), chain and sprockets. Just looking at these may have tell tale signs of prior maintenance or use.

Good refernece on line for general inspection HERE
