A day trip in the archipielago

Hi

We've had som great weather this last week, so I'been out riding the bike many times. This particularly day we went out to some islands in the archipielago, in the oustskirts of Stockholm.

We should have some sort of "bike trip" category in the forum, where people can show not only their bikes, but also a bit of the surrondings. Would be nice to see where these old bikes are spending there days...

So Martin, are these islands reached via bridge, or ferry?

SOme of the bigger islands you can reach by bridges or by open ferries for vehicles. The rest you have to have your own boat to get to... There are some really nice places to where you can take a ride, cafes, nature itself etc

The tyre question makes me a bit ashame. It came with the bike and is a bit of a cross country tyre. Should and will be replaced soon to a sport/tour tyre. Haven't yet done it, since it almost completly new, though. But when riding actively one notice that it's bad when leaning in the curves. If you want to know the brand I can check it for you. Beside that, it's standard size. INdeed very ugly...

Martin, I did'nt mean any offense by my observation. I just thought they were interesting looking tires and wondered if perhaps you rode the bike in snow. Apologies .

and yes, more pics please.

No offense taken... :)

I haven't tried the snow (yet), but this inspires me... Maybe next winter. For now, I have just ordered a new rear tyre that I can rely on in the curves...
