Woo Hoo! KZ is back from the shop!
12 Feb 2008 10:44
Yeah, I'm psyched. Sure it's the middle of Winter and it's cold outside but my Spectre is back from the shop. Getting the carbs cleaned/synched and the valves adjusted makes it run even better than before (and before it was not running bad at all.)
Took a semi-long (about 130 miles) ride on Sunday, had a blast. This bike is indestructible! Rode with my brother on his equally indestructible 1984 ZN700.
Old Kawasakis are awesome!
Pics to follow later...

Nice scenery and ya got a Good looking Spectre! I got a chance to ride mine a little over 100 miles Monday. Next Sunday looks like the weather may be nice. Maybe I'll get a chance to ride it then. I ride over 1000 miles every week but not on the Spectre.

I've always liked the Spectres. Glad to hear we have some KZers in Boulder. Pretty much have the Front Range covered...at least from Colorado Springs to Laramie, WY.
We had a small group ride last summer that was a lot of fun. Gosling1 and Kzwolfsr were part of that. Hopefully we can get a few in this year.
I'm slowly putting my 82 Kz750 back together. I'm hoping within a month I'll be ready to send mine to the shop and have the carbs synch'd and the fuel/air mixture checked and balanced.
I was in Boulder on Saturday watching the Colorado High School All-State Orchestra. While I enjoyed watching my daughter, I definitely would have preferred being out riding...Saturday was Nice!

Nice to know there are other KZ riders out there.
