That might be a toughie, if I recall correctly the first GPz models were 1981.

So you probably want one off an 81 or 82 GPz :)

The 1/4 fairing you want (square headlight opening) will be from a 1982 KZ750R1 (GPz750), a 1981/2 KZ1100B1/2 (GPz1100), a 1982/3 KZ1000R1/2 (ELR), or a 1984 KZ1100R1 (ELR). The problem is, is that your bike may not have the brackets that the fairing attached to...I suggest you look at some exploded diagrams (on www.kawasaki.com ) . The good news is that these fairings appear regularly on eBay and that a KZR member (jcote75) has one for sale right now. There is also an aftermarket version on eBay (manufactured by Maier)...they work well...had one in the past.

I have a bag of spare fairing parts. I can get a pic and post what I have. I know a couple of these parts are hard to find. I ended up with a couple of duplicates.

Nothing complete.

I know for a fact that the lower bracket is next to impossible to find. I had to make my own. The Airtech fairings are better than the original because they are Fiber glass and not just vacu-formed ABS like the factory part.
