I have noticed there are quite a number of members in Texas.I am starting this topic to find out 1-how many 2- who is interested &3- how to get started. So far I know of Wiredgeorge,MCDROID,SKYPILOT,& a few others I can't recall.I am just north of Houston in Spring. My old kaw has been VERY dependable & I'm not afraid to ride it across the state, given the time off work .Oh yeah I forgot about the money.

I'm about 40 miles east of Austin. Not sure how long I'll have the KZ but I'm always riding something somewhere so maybe I can meet up with you folks one day. There is a ride next weekend out of Giddings going to the lake Sommerville area stopping at several "watering holes" along the way. I haven't decided if I'll ride the KZ,the Honda or the Vulcan yet.

You have a PM outatimeoutlaw. Also just a idea... There will be a smaller bike rally at Smithville Tx March 14-16. Only $10 for the weekend and free tent camping. Can't get much cheaper than that! Maybe some KZR members could make it. I would be glad to meet up with you and maybe even come up with our own "KZR" run. There is LOTS of nice back roads around here. More info on the Smithville run can be seen here: www.thunderonthecolorado.com/
