Hey Parts guys, WORK WEEKENDS!
26 Jan 2008 17:27
I need people with parts that we need to buy to Kindly go to work when we arent working (weekends
) so we (I) can get parts when we (I) have time to get them from your business, not when we (I) are (am) working - please.
I am frusterated that not one friggin parts supplier will answer their friggin phones on a Saturday, the only time i have to work on this pile of crap bike..
i'm pissed that i cant get any parts by calling a Phone number on weekends.

NO!
i want to ride my bike to work!
I want to hear my bike idle and throttle up correctly
I dont want to hear the rattleing innards of a motor that isnt running right anymore.
and i dont want to see my fuel petcock leaking in the off position either.

Most places have web sites now days. You can order parts 24/7. Don't even need a credit card. A debit card will do. Only problem is you need to know what you want and what it's called. If you need a "Doohickey" to fix your "thingamajig" you are probably out of luck

Hey Randy, is there some Saturday law up in Washington? Down here in SoCal, just about everything is open on Sat... auto parts, bike parts, all dealerships, hardware stores, etc. Just wondering what places are not open up there on Sat. P.S. vacuum petcock kit from K&L is junk, everything works except diaphram with plunger. Never sealed (too short), they sent me a second one which was even shorter than first. Went to dealership and bought an OEM one for $11 and seals perfect! They made them up till 2005 for the KZ1000P.

I luckily have a spare petcock, just have to find it.
The stealerships are open, but i dont frequent them at all due to they like their parts too much so cost is astronomical.
we only have one used parts place around me, it was open but parts are priced as Brand New parts, screw them also.

So, Randy, are you going to start signing on as RANT429??? Hey, we all have to vent once in a while. You should be in this part of the country, you can't even find an auto parts store open in my town on the weekend,,
