Murphys law sucks!

ok, so i am trying to get my carbs done, i oreder the parts and when i recieve them the order is only 1/2 correct.

well, my battery is toast now, no money until payday (sucks)
The starter is disengaging too fast now and i need to rebuild it or find me a good KZ750E2 starter and install it (i suspect the bendix is shot)

I hate being half Murphy, I seem to have the worst luck when it comes to fixing anything or purchasing stuff to fix anything on the bike. i always seem to pick out or recieve either the wrong stuff or faulty stuff.

Oh well, Rant off.

FWIW Randy, the starter from ANY 650/700/750-4 Kawi should fit your bike.
The only diffs will be where the starter cable attaches to the starter (closer to the crankcase, or farther from the crankcase) and how the chrome outer cover attaches to it.

For example, after the starter on my ZN700 eviscerated itself:pinch:, I swapped in the starter from the '78 KZ650 SR parts bike I have. And the only diff between the two, was that the cable mounted to the donor starter sits closer to the crankcase than the orignal starter = angle the cable so it doesn't touch the crankcase. :)
Covina, So Calif!

84 ZN700 LTD = SOLD

i should have kept the parts bike i had when i did the build.
I sold the frame and the engine went with it.
I will find me another some day and guard it with all my guns.
