Sorry to nit-pick, Shoe... the "Special" was the "S" model that was available since '75, the one with the front drum brake... the "A" was actually called the "Deluxe" or "Executive", and was available as a '77 and left-overs as a '78 with a modest tweak or two.... which was still pretty much a '76 bike under the bags and fairing....Sure it has to be Special too . only made one year I beleive

Hey biquetoast, in the last 3 weeks there have been literally 10 bikes that should be in my garage.. Couple of KZ's, CB's, and a gs850 that i would have traded at least a nephew for.. All for under $500, most under 350..
Annnnnnnd i dont have the scratch for not one of em..
