Definitely nice looking. My brother bought that exact model/color new back in '77. He still has it but it's far from stock. I'm guessing this one will go for more than the 1000 Classic did recently.
The Kaw List:

So here's the problem...
You buy this bike, and then what?
You can't ride it. You can't NOT ride it.
While I appreciate museum collections, if I own a bike, I'm gonna ride it. And it would be a shame to put miles on a pristine bike like that.

This is very odd, the guy has the exact same bike listed on cycletrader.com, but the closeup photo of the speedo has a different light panel:

This is the Image from cycletrader:
This speedometer is obviously not from this bike.

Wow this guy lies, this is a set of gauges and instrument panel off of an early Z1 900(72-73), not a kz 1000. Its a clean bike though

I suspect it is just a mistake and he posted the wrong photo on Cycletrader. While I have not been in touch with him about this bike, I have contacted him about other bikes and he has always been forthright about supplying info and pictures.

I agree Skyman! If I had the money I would buy it, but then I'd be pissed because I could not ride it!! It would drive me nuts just looking at it sitting there knowing that it needs to just sit there!!
