He may pipe in but KZCSI is the local 1300 member here. He has a beautiful one. But $500 for all the above sounds pretty good to me? Here is KZCSI's 1300...

1980 KZ650F1, Bought new out the door for $2,162.98!

For $500.00 you could easily sell off the parts for more, even after you combine the parts and title to make one good bike. Do any of them have the square headlight intact and in good condition?

76 LTD:

Nice find (I wouldn't hesitate to get them)...but you should be aware that you won't get extraordinarily wealthy by selling KZ1300's. For some strange reason, there isn't a tremendous interest (=resale value) in this model. So, if you have non-runners, you might have to invest some, thus cutting into the profit margin.

dog-gone-it KZCSI -- could understand suffering a stroke, being senile or just having a senior moment -- but as previously and vigorously contended -- your bike looks a thousand times better with the round headlight -- so just remember, you can lead a horse to water . . .

Sounds like a good deal. If you want to do some swapping I have an 80 with some good stuff. All dissassembled. And I should be able to get the title if you want to build two. I can't decide whether to drop the bucks on it or start ebaying the parts.

I also like the round lights. Wish I could get to Oregon to ride and see your 1300 in person.

Tu Chey Patton,

Not going to let me forget that one are you?

I agree with you the Round head lite is better and Ma Kaw erred just like Ford did with the Edsel but, just the same, in some courts, Rectangular = 1300.

Regarding the horse to water comment. I offered my solution and it was ignored in favor of repair products that cost ten times my solution. I just tested the Permatex plastic weld and agree that it bonds to ABS just fine. The only problem is that it costs $5.99 for less than an ounce. I can buy ABS cement for $0.25 per ounce.

Just the same, Don't cut me no slack, other wise I wouldn't know I was loved!:woohoo:

Bill
