They are very reliable. I have taken a few 350-500 mile day trips, and 3day weekend trips of 1000-1200 miles. I was never afraid of breaking down with it.

There's an underlying rule on this site that states if you go for a ride for more miles than just around town, you're required to take your camera, and show us pictures. We'll let it slip this time, but remember it for next time, OK? :woohoo:

Glad it went OK. Now you'll find any excuse to hop in it and head out. I can see it now. You'll be going to the grocery store, buying a dozen eggs . . . one egg at a time.

The top speed I saw was 90.

I do go into town on it now. Since I replaced the fuse  the charging system works as advertised.

I only have a group shot at the beginning of the ride.
In the first pic Im on the right wth the grey one piece suit. High of 60*, couldnt been better for a Jan day.

I'll bet that one-liter bike gets alot of looks. 300 miles is a good ride on a naked bike in the winter, even if it is 60°. I live in the California Desert, and my blood has thinned out some. 70° is more like it for me. Good pics, thanks for posting.

Now that I have more confidence that the bike will not die on me. I have been riding it everywhere in town running errands, and YES everyone who sees it stops and asks questions. So far it is unanimous that the KZ1000 was/IS the bike to have. They all love the sound of the V&H as well.

Very fun bike, glad I traded my Jeep for it.
