There was some talk awhile back about removing dents in gas tanks with dry ice. Came across this video and thought you guys might like to see how it's actually done. This is done on auto metal and with a bikes fuel talk being thicker it may take a little longer. Enjoy...

Man, I was just down in the shop trying to figure out how I was gona get the dents pulled out of my tank not 10 minutes ago! I love KZR members! This ranks right up there with using Aluminum foil to get rust off chrome, another invaluable trick I got from a member a while back. OK gotta run to the store, let you know how it turns out.

when I was a kid, we used to have to remove the hail dents from the cars in the hot summer mths, with ice cubes.

Wish I could get dry ice here in Canada as easily as you can in the US. I have two small thumbprint size dents in my gastank and really want to get rid of them. I hade seen a similar type video but instead of dry ice they used compressed air from a can. If you keep spraying it forms ice on the metal. Anyway it did'nt work for me.
If anyone tries the dry ice trick let us know if it works on gastanks.
