I would post a link but don't know how. Anyway I think this guy is full of it. Sure it has a turbo but 1400cc's without an aftermarket cylinder block? Right.

don, it's easy. Just copy (control-C, or right click and "copy")) address and then go to tiny.url, paste address (control-V, or right click and "paste")) in and it will convert 180 bazillion characters into about 25. Copy that and then just paste into your post! Try it, it's fun!! ;)

A bigblock is required for a 1261 and larger. unless he stroked it, and I see no cylinder spacers. I have seen a stock block re-sleeved for the 1261 and it is THIN I concur, BS, or worst yet, DANGEROUS

Here is what bothered me about the listing...the seller claims all these 'improvements' and well done, serious maintenance. On the close-up photos of the motor and the handlebars, all the allen bolt heads are rusted ... for $50.00 he could have purchased a replacement set from Z1E and had his bike looking like it hasn't sat in the rain. This suggests an inattention to detail.

I don't know much about gold plated bolts but I can assure you that the bike isn't using big pistons in the stock KZ900 cylinder head. It would be far easier to put an aftermarket block on in order to run 1261cc pistons than put a spacer under the block to stroke the engine. How would you do this on a KZ? Find some long rods somewhere? The rods are typically not replaceable as they don't come off. I don't know where you would buy a spacer or long rods. Perhaps they are out there but the block doesn't appear to have a spacer under it.
