i have the fairing/windshield...just wasn't on bike...i think she'll clean up nice..all of the chrome has wax covering it so there is very little corrosion, aftermarket smoothbores, the kerker will need some work and the PO says he thinks he has the original 4into1 exhaust!

Marshall,
Not sure where you call home, but we need to get together next spring when we got the Z1r's done and go for a ride. Congrats on the greatest Z there is(my opinion I know but HEY, I AM allowed to think that. lol) and I hope you get many years of riding out of it.

On the left side pic is that a master cylinder reservoir on the side of the forks or is that something for the fork? Excuse me in advance for my ignoranceB)

Yes, the Z1-r's have the front master cylinder reservoir mounted on the forks and it's actuated by a cable from thte front brake lever. I think they did it so the fairing would not hit the bar-mounted reservoir. There are more than a few parts exclusive to the Z1-R. Man, I miss mine!

The Kaw List:
Current: 79 KZ1000 A3 MKII, 78 KZ1000 A2, 78 KZ1000 Z1-R, 78 KZ650 SR, 80 KE175
Former: 03 KLX400SR, 99 ZRX1000, 82 KZ750 LTD, 80 KZ1000 A4 MKII, 80 KZ1000 LTD, 78 KZ1000 A2, 74 H-2 750 Triple, 78 KL250
