Wednesday afternoon I am picking up another steal on a KZ. It's a '78 650 with oversize cams, race clutch, Z1 carbs and some other goodies...comes with a title. It's been sitting for a few years and I don't know what kind of shape it's in. I am only paying $100.00 so I guess we'll see what I get...I promise to post pics as soon as I get it home...WooooooooHooooooo:woohoo:

Congrats! Hope it is better than you think!

Here is a pic after a quick wash. It has oversized cams, Heavy Duty clutch, Z1 carbs, Kerker Header, and an oil cooler. Came with a title and a key. $100.00 and it was local.

I don't know why but I have been having trouble resizing on photobucket lately so I can post...here goes...

Heck, I'd have snatched that up for $100 as well!

My eyes might be lying to me as I get older, but it looks like the generator cover has the 3 external allen bolts near the center of it, which would make it a '77 not a '78.

Either way, great score bud!

What plans do you have for it?

Man that's a great deal. I think R4's right, the mads look like 77 mags with no lip on the edge. Great score, good luck getting it going.

Real nice score, that should make for a nice project. I don't think anyone would be too surprised if I said I'd have bought it in a New York minute.

You guys are correct...he originally told me it was a 78 but didn't find out till later it was a 77. As for plans...I may just work it over this winter...I'm not sure yet:cheer:
