Went window shopping today and saw an '02 Bandit with 4.3k and they're asking for 3,900. Is that in the ball park? They (dealership) went through it and after $600.00 tab the owner decided to get a different bike. Bike looked almost perfect. Only concern was a lot of discoloration on the headers. I should have, but I didn't get exactly which 1200 it is.

The price is about right. Maybe a couple of hundred high. But if a good shop has gone over it, it is probably a good deal.

I really like the Bandit. Air cooled, torquey motor and lightly faired. Has a comfortable upright seating position.

Watch out for your nads. Its a ball slapping wheelie machine! If you are leaning over the tank even a little and rap on the gas (in any gear), the front end will jump off the ground and the tank will bust your cajones.

I have a 2001 Bandit 1200S for sale in the want ads... am willing to deal. The bike is still for sale. My bike has a LOT of desireable mods.
