Looks to be about par for the course, maybe even a bit low. Perhaps there will be some last minute bidding, but my quick scan of the description shows it's not 100% original so that will hurt it.

OTOH, with the stock market being a bit liquid the past few weeks, people may be looking for some "hard assets" to sink their money into.

It is a pretty one though. Question on those sidecover badges. What were the years they put that "900 Double Overhead Cam " badges on the side covers?

I suspect the owner is looking for about US$15,000 ... and the emblem with '900 DOHC' was employed for the 1973-5 line (Z1, Z1A, Z1B ). I think that the Z1B emblem differs slightly from the Z1/Z1A emblem :)

The one that we talk about the most sold for $23,000 (or close to it). It was the finest example of a 73 Z1 to ever show up on ebay and maybe one of the finest in the world.

Bidding closed at US$16,101 with RESERVE NOT MET !!!
Hmmmm.....I guess the top of the market hasn't been hit with this one. Of course, it WILL show up again, I'm sure....unless he's made a side deal with one of the bidders so he can avoid Ebay's final selling price fees....
