Here are a few pics from a trip that a freind and I did a couple of years ago that I have been meaning to post but never got the photos from him till a couple of weeks ago. We trucked our bikes from Regina to Vegas in early January then another friend drove the truck back and we headed south through Nogales to Mazatlan then across Mexico to McAllen Tx and then along the gulf to New Orleans. My freind on the 750 ran out of money at this point and sold his bike for $100 in a gas station parking lot and flew home. I did the final leg From New Orleans to Tenn and KY and then across the plains and got home april 2. I put on over 15000 km on the trip and the old kaw ran like dream the whole way! I wore out my sprocket and chain by New Orleans and wore my rear tire right through and was standed a couple of days in Nebraska till I could find a new one. Other than that the bike took pretty much anything I could throw at it. It was also on this trip that I first found KZR when I was hearing what I thought were gear box noises ( turned out my chain was just reall dry........I'm not that bright) but everyone here was able offer tech advice when I needed it along the way and that surely added a little peice of mind out on the road........dam this is a long post cheers! The first Pic was taken on the beach in San Carlos Mexico.

This is awesome. I'm leaving on a trip from Portland, Or to Scottsdale, Arizona today!

New Sparks, New oil, New tires. I should be fine. Packed all the necessary tools and service manuals just in case. I have the 750 and that's good to hear it seems reliable. I'm going to stop at the parts store to grab some extra fuses and bulbs "just in case" then i'm off! Great story ;)

Great pics, K-man. When I lived in AZ, I spent alot of time in San Carlos and Guymas. But I never toured it on a bike. good times...
