84 gpz 550/750 rim swap

hi all
i want to swap my 18" rims to 17"  has any one done this successfully?   any got ya's?   what parts did you end up using?

Can’t speak to the 550,  but a semi-common mod is using a Zx6R (zx600f) rear wheel on the 750 Turbo’s.   The swingarm is similar
between the 750A and 750E models.  Maybe start there.
