Voila! -
Just finished! - I finally got the aluminum tube last very late afternoon,...and then quickly shortened the tubes here in the garage on my little "hobby lathe"...haha, I just couldn't wait...this morning I had to create some "clearance" in the headlight housing by cutting out a hole, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the headlight tilted enough: The lower housing was resting against the brake line distributor... -Now everything's finished and everything fits very well...shortening the upper supports a bit was quick. - The whole fairing-thing is now 41 mm lower, and I really like it. -Now I'm going to take it for a test drive ;-)

Definitely worth the effort Joe, looks sooooooooooo much better :) I also had to get "jiggy" with the headlight to make it fit where I wanted it !!

Thanks, Guy! Well , you also solved that neatly with that headlight housing!

I cut out the exact mounting point marked in the circle, and the elbow of the brake line distributor now protrudes slightly into this "hole," and the headlight angle/tilt is now correct... (If I hadn't done it, I'd be shining my light at the moon ;-)

Here just another picture, shows the solution about lowering the fairing and headlight unit....  I just returned from my 60 km "test drive."
I can't detect any impairment in the handling. Neither when negotiating S-curves nor at higher speeds on the highway at around 190 km/h. The front wheel doesn't "lighten up," and there's no rocking in the suspension: the handling is very satisfactory. I mean, I have nothing negative to report!

Greetings, Joe

Good job, you could possibly use a fog-light "steady" from a rally car to maintain your headlamp adjustment since you removed the mounting for the factory adjuster

I don't use any lower angle adjuster, my headlight is so tightly adjusted between the brackets that nothing moves on its own...If necessary, i adjust it a very little with my hands...
