Yes!!
I cut the upper and lower tube from the ZR7.
Why???
Because it was the fastest and simple way to do it, i will explain.

1- The bracket for the suspension will allready welded and at the right place,
2- On the tube the rear engine mount are there too.
3- I only had to bolt the engine mount to the engine and adjust the tube to where i wanted the suspension to be

So i cut the lower tube on the KZ frame and fit everything.

I forgot to mention,

By instaling the swing arm and the upper and lower frame tube from the ZR7 i keept the output shaft of the ZR7 so now the enginge fit without no modification

And by doing that i placed the long bushing from the rear engine mount in the right from mount  A PERFECT FIT!!!

As for the left front mount, i just add 2 washers as shim

I also welded a sqare tubing for the oil cooler

Now that the engine and the rear suspension are fitted togetherwith the frame, I wanted to see what the ZR7 exhaust will look like on the bike.

the line is very smooth. I also check the rear master cylinder for fittment with the actual bracket and brake pedal pivot. The rear master cylinder mouting hole were identical , i only ad to put spacers because the offset attachement were not on the same side as the original master cylinder. So i kept the rear right bracket for the master cylinder.

Whith the ZR7 exhaust the right side mounting point of the passenger peg wont fit.. So... No passenger?  I tried the rear passenger pegs and the right side have the support for the exhaust.
I made two bracket and weld them on the frame.

The rear is done, and you also see that the front end do not look as the usual Kz, it was done at first so let's go back.

For the front end i wanted a better suspension and braking system. I saw an ad for a 1994 GSXR750 real cheep, bought the bike, took what i needed from it.

Tried the complete front end. and looked what was needed to fit everything.

I spent countless hours of measuring and drawing to fit everything, i will keep it short... I took all the GSXR front end as it was and simply changed the tripple tree steem, i had a steem machined and fited it on the tree and mounted everything in place .

I did not like the clip-on from the GSXR, they were too low and did not like the riding position.
I got  some 3 in riser clip-on with adjustable rake from Woodcraft Technologies. They are fully adjustable and look good too.
