Photos showing how I made the silencers, exhaust wadding will be wrapped around the perforated tube to keep the sound level down a little (I hope).

Finished welding the exhaust, started the bike and it sounds great (if a little loud). Time to tear the bike down to get the frame painted.

Think it's time for an update ( if anyone's interested). Stripped the bike down and finished the welding on the frame as it's a lot easier when you turn the frame upside down!
Cut all the brackets off the frame that I did not need, along with the centre stand. The frame is now at the powder coating shop, going with gloss black.
Started cleaning the engine, not going the whole hog and rebuilding it just a good clean. Also striped the forks today to fit new seals and change the oil, awaiting the seals.

The rebuild has started!
I've got the newly powder-coated frame back in the workshop, I'm very pleased with the finish, you can't see where the welds are.
I've inserted a photo but not sure if we get to see for a while, but I'm sure the boffins are doing their best to sort the forum.

I had a call from the paint-shop yesterday, they wanted me to look at the swatch they had done, for the colour of the tank. I've gone for British Racing Green with a bit of bronze powder in satin, looks great!
