Picked up this 74 today. Most of the hard work has been done only needing a few small bits and assembly. It never ends, I need a break.

Every part including nos hand swithches, nos fenders, all hardware replated.  everything bagged and tagged

Wow!  Sweet find & nice project.

Curious why so much prep was done & not followed through?

We're sorta lost, too much time on our hands, no project in the shop.  If things work out as we think they will, we'll have another '73 resto in the shop fair soon.

Sad story I'd rather not repeat. The seller and I have been in contact the last few years and he lost interest, finally told me to come get it. I'll make it right, for him.

Good enough for now. I'm not happy with the Dorimi tank set I'll get original parts painted later. Plus the repo seat will get tossed.

cheers
