Here is my pride and joy 1994 KZP. Took off all of the cop stuff, cleaned bike up from top to bottom. Polished engine covers, added KZ tail and LTD seat. Also added Z1R style side covers. Swapped out KZP stock exhaust system for Vance & Hines four into one header.

Future plans include swing-arm swap along with wider tire. Might upgrade front forks to newer suspension.
Plan on painting bike once I figure out what color I want. Before and after pics:

I love this bike, it runs great and I get a lot of compliments on it wherever I go. Big props to EBAY for the majority of parts I've gotten through them........

Nice job, but are you sure those are Z1r side covers? They look like shaft drive ones.

Good call.....I actually added the KZ1000 ST side covers on my bike. I have a couple of Z1R style side covers, and a couple of KZ1000 shaft drive covers as well. The set currently on the bike looked the best due to the great condition they are in and the color does not look too bad for now, until I figure out what color I want to paint the bike.

I agree......I was going to take my Dremel tool to it, and cut off the ST badge but, the covers are in mint condition and I am terrified to damage what I have. I might remove the complete badge, cut it and reinstall it. will see!!!! B)

If you can pry the spring washers off and keep the prongs, it would be better.

So, I finally got around to modifying the KZ side cover emblems. I removed the "ST", and actually painted the side covers. They were a nice metallic blue but it obviously did not match the white on the rest of the bike. It killed me to paint over the blue (my favorite color) and the fact that the blue was in mint condition but, I think the white side covers tie in better with the rest of the bike.

One day, I will do a complete paint job, not sure what color yet! :S

Looks like a Z1 tail. The bike looks stubbier than mine as well. I know the frame is heavier. Looks good.
