great build! I too have folded my license plate under the tire and destroyed first tail light
both times riding 2 up ended up with it angled pretty far my shock has a little too much travel
for as low as mine sits

Has anyone done some sort of positive stop for the arm? I thought about doing it but just wasn't sure how.

Thanks Ram. Wayne, I'm not sure a stop would produce a desirable effect. A sport bike hard tail combo? Might buck you off the seat when you hit a hard bump. I'll address the plate somehow. But for now I'm focused on painting. I'm bringing the old school siphon gun out of the tool museum. Cherry red with white stripes. Ditched the flat black stripe idea.

Got the painting done today. Pretty happy with the results. Had a lot of lifting of the base on the tank. Never experienced that before, super frustrating. No different treatment on the tank versus everything else, and it only happened on the tank. Chalked it up to too heavy on the first coat. Sanded it down and babied it on real slowly the second time and it worked perfectly. I was super nervous about the clear coat, but it went on like a dream. Only see one sag on the side of tail I'll have to sand. But maybe more when I get it in the daylight.

I have been thinking about doing my front fender similar and now that I see how good it looks I guess that's another line on the "to-do" list.

I've been itching to get in the saddle since I started on this project in March I should be done within a month or so, and I'll be riding it into November to make some good mileage.

Turned out awesome!!!
