Spent the day finding tools LOL got most of her tore apart for a clean and paint (mostly clean)









Hopefully will get to the Bolt store tomorrow and get some much needed Stainless nuts & Bolts

yep and so are the swingarm bushings. I have gained a ton of weight since I put this thing together and was a little concerned with the flex of the swingarm (side to side) but bushings show no wear and no play

I'm off today its supposed to be 70 degrees and I really would rather be riding than cleaning LOL
a day off and gorgeous weather is a really rare for me. time to get off the computer and make the most of it!!!

t allot got done but the tedious stuff doesn't yield fast results LOL





HID looks great added a white LED to daytime running light to help overcome black reflector
will probably change out reflector eventually

Took rear pegs apart and did some cleaning and painting

Thanks Leon been studyin on what I wanna do.

probably simple and functional this year I wanna do way more riding than wrenching & troubleshooting LOL

Actually have a day off and got up early to get busy on getting my bike ridable. I don't have the
money to redo the front wheel so I had planned on painting it to match my rear wheel until I can
afford the wheels I want.

taped off the ugly rusted spokes and got to sanding. taped everything up and grabbed my paint
gun cleaned it up after a winter storage and opened my can of primer and... yeah its 8 months old dried up and unusable.


I couldn't be deterred and wait another week my manager is off this week so I will work 6
12 hour days not really much time with the hour commute each way. so made a trip to lowes
and bought some trusty spray bomb primer
after several coats and some sanding I was ready for paint

and...of course I only had about 1/4 pint of old paint so off to Autozone and bought some dupli-color auto shop premix lacquer I was chose the lacquer for a few reasons I don't wait well and if I remember correctly lacquer doesn't dry brittle like acrylic enamels and urethanes. so hoping with the flex of the spokes I'll have better adhesion



Several coats of paint sprayed really nice a little meaty but covered well










now what to do with the Rotors they could use a good cleaning and painting This far in guess
I better get busy

looks nice man.
can't wait to see it mounted .

alot of old euro bikes have the wheels painted like that and i have always thought it looked classy.

Painted front wheel
New Clutch Cable
New Throttle cable
I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff but anyway 50 mile shake down ride required a few
adjustments
new pipe fits closer to frame required adjusting brake pedal left couple things loose had
to retorque (torque) Clutch cover fuse panel connection has loosened up in the socket
over time will address that Tuesday & then hopefully a complete day of riding with a little
cleaning and no wrenching
