Wow that does look tight. Which exhaust system is that?

Vance & Hines im gonna see if its even doable if I can figure this sudden electrical issue

got my electrical sorted out on with the brakes
polished the pad covers dont get to spend much time
but if I do a little every evening I may be able to at least run
it down the road by next week

Put the fender on, take a ratchet strap and pull her down. You know Indiana pot holes and you'll get one. Two major changes, shorter forks which by themselves would be okay but with the triples being only 26mm offsets instead of 60mm the wheel is also further back by about an 1-5/16". Bet you end up using the raked chassis.
Those mounts look like they polished up good, go to button head screws, might help clean them up some more.

took your advice Les, I ratched it down as far as I could and it didnt hit
I'm still gonna swap everything over (gonna need a mono kit to do it)
but at least everything will be mocked up and I can do some local riding until the
finances are ready for the real deasl

Today didnt end up the way I had hoped but...
did get my bolt kit from alloy botz from ebay
looks really grat I'm not mad was a little leary buying a bolt kit

The more I lookj at it the more I like it Les eventually I will swap
over to the raked fram or just have this frame raked
my next project will be a ground up while I tweak this one LOL




I would like to get the bike on the road but need so many new tools

got off at 3 today made it home in time to get the air out of the brake lines
and pulled it out the barn (yard barn that is) quick recap
zx7 front end 78 19" front wheel 79 rotors custom axle nuts rotor spacers
speedo spacer triples fender brackets etc from outr man Les
gonna spend the day cleaning on it tomorrow and then maiden voyage






things I still need are the ellusive M10 1.25X35mm caliper bolts
cant find the bolts I had for it and ordered new bolts from the KAWI dealer
big mistake 28.00 for the wrong bolts none found locally today so
hopefully with enough digging I can find them.

looking to get her cleaned up fired up and make sure everything is tight for
a shake down ride tomorrow wish me LUCK!
