Thanks Bought a set of 7" rounds for a 70's Camaro on FeeBaey put a green T9 bulb in the daytime running light Glows green at night looks pretty cool, If I did it again I wouldn't go with the black reflector but most of my night riding is in town. gonna upgrade the bulb with a xenon in the same housing in th winter build

ranks right up there with tires lol hopefully the brighter xenon setup will overcome the black reflector if not I will be changing back to chrome reflector. I live between a corn and bean field with season bout to open the deer are on the move everywhere. had one trot across the road in front of me at 9 this morning. 27.00 bucks a pair it was worth the experiment (sold the spare for 25.00)

OK all the halfaxx research I have done on the swingarm 180 tire fit hasn't been the best. ok I get click happy on Feebay. the swing arm inside dimension is 9.5" wide at the axle. my new click happy wheel came today 9" from end of stud to rotor side bearing 1/4" spacer on each side? what about brake assembly? Not gonna work is it? What do I do? spring for a wider swingarm?

got an email from spaceballs on youtube he says his swingarm is the same inside dimension as mine I know a GS1100 is an inch wider and is easily convertable I am waiting on my axle and rotor to get everthing mocked up but I think I am gonna have to go wider on the swingarm I have included a couple more pic's and welcome any ideas about using what I have. the brake caliper is gonna be a problem and looking at the gs swingarm it apears to have a slight offset to center wheel If anyone knows this setup wont work I would appreciate your insight.

i "think" i have a zx9 swingarm that i am milling .150 thsnths. off the pivot tube to fit a kz900.
which if i am correct (that it is a zx9)means that the zx is 9.150 wide.
where the kz is 9 inches wide.

i took the easy way out(for me),and just built my own swingarm to suit my uncompromising taste  .

I bought a nice but green ZX Wheel I am hoping to polish it I dont have a walnut blaster or soda Blaster, what is the best DIY way to strip the paint? AicraftPaint stripper? i cant see sanding it off as a viable way to strip it. the polishing alone will involve a rediculous amount of man hours and I may not be able to do it myself to my satisfaction but wanna try it. any advice on time and effort savings other than paying the pros would greatly be appreciated

my buddy and my brother both used the aircraft stripper to strip some sport bike wheels.

my brother bought some big rubber gloves and used a credit card as a scraper.he said the credit card was the best thing he found to use.
