The bad part is i noticed the shock was a too soft and I let my son inlaw (who doesn't ride)talk me into not adjusting the damper til I rode it and I actually forgot to. After I adjusted it it is deffinately alot stiffer not sure if it's enough

not to mention I have gained 35 pounds since I met her doesn't help Starting the diet today!!!

adjusting the damping or preload wont actualy prevent it from bottoming out, just make it ride hard.

It was a b;ast I love riding weather. cant say season because I've been known to ride tear round lol

I am gonna make an adjustable linkage to raise it a little, but put a few miles on it today with no problems if the weather holds out gonna be on it all day tomorrow!!

I put adjustable lowering links on mine for mock up and I'm going to leave them on. I like the look of them. You might like the look of these too.

52mm on the top was all I need from the forks, just need the lower tree assembly to get fork spacing and offset measurements.

No biggie, I have plenty to do in the mean time. With the weather being so good I'm doing garden tilling already.

Got to thinking about your bottoming out issue. Changing your dampening isn't going to change the issue but if you were to change the rate of rising on the spring or the linkage you would be able to maintain the ride height you have and still haul passengers without worry. Not sure what year of model of arm and linkage you have but a ZX10 linkage has a faster rising rate than a ZX6 and most will interchange. I can do some checking and see which would work, just need year and model of linkage.
