I like the oil tank. Way better than PVC.
Seat looks pretty good too (plenty of cushion for a soft ride). It would look better though if you could take out some of the foam on the front half, you don;t need it there anyway.

Maybe you can carefully remove the upholstery, trim the foam, & re-stretch the covering?
Not sure how it's done, but it should be doable with a little contact cement.

+1 on the oil tank. I like that look on the hardtails. Can't wait to see more progress

That's what Harbor Freight, and Black Friday weekend deals are for! Na, you're doing a great job. I'm really enjoying watching your vision come to life.

Also, Christmas is coming.
For many years all I ever asked for was tools.
There are some good deals on craigs list too lately.

Depending on where you are, Harbor Freight is having a pretty good sale now.

I went down and picked up a few things, and I saw the items you listed for one heck of a price. Throw in their 2 year warranty for a few bucks more, and your set.

That oil tank looks nice on there. Is the other side cut out already? looks like it from the pic.
here is a pic of a bike with pvc tank I wanted to copy, but yours looks better for your style bike.
