My '79 MKII project

I got a MKII for a steal last week and i've been finding parts for it getting stuff ready to order. Gonna need a paint job and some stuff completely replaced ,but what's a restoration without a little work

18 Jun 2010 04:28I think I'm gonna do an old school cafe racer style get some clubman bars go back to dual exhaust. I wish Kawasaki would have given this bike some lines to the back end, so it would look better if I get a seat with a cowl. Gonna try and get a fairing like this. Also do ya'll know why the mileage reset wheel stopped working and if it's fixable. I'd hate to lose the original clocks for this beast.That is one hell of a project you've got on your hands! You have a solid starting point, any idea what direction you are going to take it?
