Ewwwwwwwww..... Marky... PURDY!!!! B)

Now, please tell me you did use a 2 part clear and not can clear coat!!!!

Calhoun:
Patience young man, take your time..... Looky, dream, analyze, draw it up in your mind and on paper, prototype it, fab it... All in due time....

Every additional milli second you take to do it right, perfect it, make it optimum in performance, re-do when just not right etc... and IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT WHEN FINSISHED! ;)

She's looking sweet and sexy! Don't start rushing now to make her look trashy or run so-so... Keep to your game plan...

Sorry Pal ,I wimped out.
I figured that i will have to redo the whole bike anyways, so i just used the duplicolor clear coat. i think it is much better now that i have used the Dupli color adhesion promoter though. Thanks for that tip.
I have a spare tank with a built in gas cap. So i will try to paint that with real paint and see how it works out. Then i will redo the whole bike.B)

Today I started mounting the rear ZRX master cylinder. I plan to modify the stock brake pedal, then mount the m.cylinder close the the same place as the old one. I plan to run stock pegs for now, I am tall and this will be a commuter until I get another bike( all stock 900 ) so I need for it to be cozy.
I kept moving the pedal and m. cylinder around and did not like what I was seeing. I almost started to mount it on the outside but it would look silly.
So I got my drill out and put a hole through the seat stay. I plan to find a piece of pipe 3/4" outside diameter and weld it in. Once the pipe is welded in so that it intersects with the frame tube, the rod between the pedal and the master cylinder will go through it. It should look subtle when its done.
I am getting the bottle for the welder this week also.
This could be an interesting week!:silly: :silly: :silly:
Or I could end up building a dune buggy or something and forget about the bike.

I am thinking about a sparkley silver paint job. Possibly some strips for color.
