yes racer 54 that is just what i was talking about i just couldn't find any pictures. that mod is highly recommended.

carefull riding with that lock up on the street,lot less forgiving in a panic situation when youre trying to back out of it fast

hey thanks for the input plummen. How unstreetable is a lockup clutch? What damage could it possibly cause?

Also for a little update, i Just bought a HD 2nd gear from Schnitz Racing, and a big block (thanks mark). Now as soon as i get the upper cases bored, i can finally reasseble the bottom end.d

its kinda like a mini bike clutch harder you crack the throttle the harder it clamps down ,which could be a bad thing when its standing on the back wheel and youre trying to back out of it and the clutch has other ideas! :laugh: it depends a lot on what springs/weights and how its adjusted

well, i have made a little change in the project plans once again. Money is very tight right now, but for the $100 it cost me....LOOK AT WHAT I GOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!





Will be scratching my previous plans on using my zx9 rear rim, and will be using the matching rear rim i got with the front end. The only thing missing from the front end setup is the brake calipers. Oh yeah, and the parts are from a 99 r1. Also, I just purchased an 8" over arm for the project. Brand new it was only $220 shipped with axle. I will post pics when i get home. If anybody is interested i will give you the contact information of the guy who made the swingarm. He makes alot of them and did a great job.

I may be interested in the zx9 rim. what year is it from? do u have the hub , disk ,caliper?

haha, i know right!!! He said he has a garage full of parts, and hes cleanin out a little. I should have asked, with my luck theres prolly a bunch of old kawis in there for cheap :woohoo:

just got the parts, the frontend is very complete. It came with clipons, both levers, master cylinder, and braded brake lines tire on the front rim looks to be pretty good too
