Got them all cut out and a guy from another site welded them in. The welds look like a row of dimes! Sorry about the size. Now all I need is to put the motor in and check to see where I need to weld on a bracket for ththe air shifter. Then it's off to powdercoat!

I started to grind on them but thought I better get a pic before I smoothed them all the way out.

Nice! Are you planning on running your bike at any Prostar events? If so you might give a second thought to not grinding the welds. There's a regulation in their rulebook that says you can't.

Just thought you might want to know.

Looks great! Are your lower side cover grommets OK for clearance? I had to modify mine slightly. Just a thought before you powder coat...

Well I guess thats one more thing to check. I'll have it about 90 percent assembled before I take it to powdercoating to make sure I don't miss anything.

Nope no Prostart. Up here in the Northwest we just have NHRA on the coast. I turning it back into a street legal bike so it will be ok. I plan on finding another bike to race someday. I heard they are selling the local track so I'm not sure if there will be any racing around here anyway.
