Hello all, I bought two GPZ550's about a month ago. One runs, one doesn't. The running one has some mods, Kerker exhaust, K&N pod filters... couple other things, pretty peppy. I'm starting to rebuild the non running one in order to produce a better, stronger bike... the SIXTY MILLION DOLLAR BIKE!!!

The pace might be a little slow... i'm not sure yet, if anybody wants to help let me know

The frame on the running one has a "slight" bend in it... nothing that would inhibit proper operation!

I still need some parts:
front fairing
right side engine cover
... All I can think of right now.

the running bike is an 85, the other is an 84.

My progress so far today:

Rear fairing, handles
seat lock
peg mounts
exhaust
front fairing mount/headlight

Keep it coming, I like the GPz projects.

Its always nice to have a doner bike, good luck wit your project.

love GPz projects too...especially 550 projects. ive got complete fairing from my current bike, including belly pan...painted yellow...pretty good shape its buried somewhere in the classifieds i think...

I have a complete GPZ 550 84 and 85 also that I am looking to unload.
