Today I got off my ass and did a little work to the bike. I fabbed up a rear brake pedal to fit around my sidewinder, did a little trimming around the gauges and I also threw in a pic of the new 1075 pistons sitting in thier new home.

Thanx Ron. I gave up trying to post pics a long time ago. Maybe I should find a 12 year old to show me how to do it. BTW I know the pedal looks real close to the clutch cover but it about a half inch away. Besides, who needs a rear brake anyway? B)

In the ad the guy said they are 101/2 to 1. They look a little tall to be that low, but anything will be better than what I had. It was around 110 psi in all four with old pistons.

I have 10.5:1 Yoshimura pistons in mine and yours look much taller than mine. I guess you will find out when it is all together. I am having hard time picture how that pedal will clear the pipe. I have a sidewinder PCO on mine and it looks like I will have to make a pedal that makes a U shape and goes under the left side of the pipe and comes out the right side. I will also have to move my peg because it touches the pipe a little bit.

You know I didn't even think of how far down I have to press the petal. I have the head off the bike and didn't think about where the pipe goes. Damn, I'll have to see what happens when I get the new head. Not a big deal but a pain in the arse. This one only took about 30 minutes to make and I paid 87 cents for material.

my 1170cc pistons look like that and are rated at 10.5:1, but they are J head pistons, perhaps yours are too and the other members had the older heads.

I hope they aren't for a J head. That would be more money I don't have. I just picked up a new to me Trailblazer and now I'm broke for the next month. :(
