Specs :-
New alloy braced swingarm.
Wire wheels - Akront again 3.5 x 18, 2.15 x 18 front(wire of course).
Frame already braced and gussetted, extra stuff not needed is cut off& smoothed.
CB1100R belly pan.
Still deciding upper fairing, won't be full though.

Engine :-
Yoshi 1105 cc
Balanced/welded crank
Head flowed
Moriwaki R/T cams
29 mm Mikuni smoothbores
Barnett clutch
Megacycle custom 4 into 1

Brakes :-
Upgrade to 4 spot calipers on front, still looking at what is available/will fit.

I have had all this gear packed away for some time (6 years)(disassembled) and look like finally getting the time to do the rebuild at last.

A friend of mine, he is a graphic designer and I drew up this concept after a night on the booze, with my aeronautical background and his flare for design this is what, like all shapes, took about another year to make up, the tank is constructed mainly from kevlar and carbon fibre the tail piece just from kevlar. The rear panel is for inspecting the fuel filter and changing same. The fuel cap is a genuine Bell UH-1H item.
Side covers as you probably guessed are original Z1R MK11.
We only ever made two as with all the angles etc it was pretty time consuming.
Tony.

It looks good but I do wish it was a little bit more streamlined in the side cover area, but its all good

 That explains it!

I thought the same thing as pumps, instantly thought of a Stealth bomber. Cool, very unique. A Kevlar tank- is it bullet-proof?:S

Looks to me very much like the 82 Suzuki Katana tank. Which I always wanted badly. Since you invited the comments I gotta say I like the Katana better at this point but yours is not done so my opinion does not count. You are doing some great fab it will be interesting to see it done. AND it doesn't matter who likes it or hates it as long as you love it!
