Hey just bought a 1975 KZ400S so I figured I better come here to learn what to do to Cafe it up....

Its in good shape needs new cables and a carb cleaning.

Any suggestions where to find rear sets or norton type tanks?

Welcome to the site!
From the pic, looks like your bike is in good shape. Should be a good bike for a cafe project. Lots of members here that have done similar mods.

Welcome. I have found Vintage races or Swap meets to be good sources for Cafe parts in my area.
